Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students Fund Reporting
On March 27, 2020, the President of the United States signed the CARES Act (H.R. 748) that provides emergency relief funds to organizations and individuals affected by the coronavirus pandemic. The Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF), found in Section 18004 of the CARES Act, provides funding to institutions of higher education “to prevent, prepare for, and respond to coronavirus.” The Reiss-Davis Graduate School received an additional grant under the American Rescue Plan of 2021, the additional funds for Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students under the Award No. P425F204629 – 20B.
AWARD
The Reiss-Davis Graduate School has received the additional award of $15,791 reaching a cumulative amount of $29,179.
FUNDS DISTRIBUTED
As of 12/28/21, the Reiss-Davis Graduate School has distributed the additional funds to students in the amount of $15,791 reaching a cumulative amount of distributed of $29,179.
STUDENT ELIGIBILITY
The Reiss-Davis Graduate School has 18 students eligible to participate in programs under Section 484 in Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965 and thus eligible to receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students.
METHOD USED TO DETERMINE STUDENTS’ ELIGIBILITY
The Institution decided to distribute additional grants to all FAFSA-eligible students enrolled full-time in the doctoral program as of August 16, 2021 (beginning of the AY21/22 Fall Term).
