ProfileDr. Elizabeth Hobson is a Marriage and Family Therapist who has been in private practice for almost two decades, specializing in work with adolescents and their families. She earned her BA in Psychology and an MS in Counseling Psychology from California State University Northridge (CSUN). Based on her interest in child and adolescent attachment and neurobiology, combined with her experience in early intervention services for neurodiverse children, she later earned her doctorate in Psychology at Reiss-Davis Graduate School. Her doctoral degree and her dissertation research bolstered her expertise in psychodynamic child and adolescent psychotherapy, child development, and family psychology. In 2013, she opened an inclusive swim school to assist all children, including neurodiverse children, in learning swimming in a nurturing and safe environment. She continues to give back to children and families by volunteering her time in numerous ways and was excited to return to her alma mater to teach the next generations of students at Reiss-Davis Graduate School.
