PROFILEDr. Herson Mojica joined Reiss-Davis Graduate School with a master’s degree in human development from Pacific Oaks College in Pasadena and a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
As a clinical psychologist, he has extensive experience as a child and adolescent therapist and developed an expertise in psychological assessment for both children and adults. Dr. Mojica's therapeutic approach is integrative, culturally sensitive, and grounded in psychodynamic theory, reality-based treatment, and humanistic care. He provides services in English and Spanish to individuals and couples, addressing a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, self-esteem struggles, and trauma. Additionally, he offers affirmative therapy to those who identify as LGBT. At Reiss-Davis Graduate School, Dr. Mojica has taught several courses, including Psychological Assessment. He has also been an essential member of multiple committees and currently serves as the chair of the Institutional Research Board (IRB) and coordinator for student accommodations. |
