ProfileDr. Yañez worked at the VIP Community Mental Health Center providing direct mental health services. His past experience includes working at Project Fatherhood at the Children’s Institute and Para Los Niños in Los Angeles. Paulo completed a fellowship at the UC Davis Napa Infant-Parent Mental Health Fellowship and recently joined their faculty.
As a Birth to Five psychotherapist, Dr. Yañez developed an expertise in the subject area of the role of the father in society, in families, and in child and infant care. As part of the faculty, Dr. Yañez teaches or helps teach Paternal Mental Health, which examines fatherhood from a psychodynamic perspective, Cultural Competency, and other courses. |
